How long does a commercial reroof typically take?

It depends on the size, complexity, and access. A 500 m² roof with minimal flashings and no box gutters can take around 1–2 weeks. A 1,500 m² roof with large commercial eaves gutters and substantial flashing work may take 4–5 weeks. Once we inspect the job, we can provide an accurate timeline.

Can we stage the project to avoid disrupting operations?

Yes, we can absolutely stage the project to meet financial constraints or WHP&S requirements and keep your business operating while we complete the works.

Do you provide temporary weatherproofing during installation?

We only remove as much roofing as we know we can reinstall and make watertight in the same day. We avoid using tarps overnight, as wind or water pooling can cause further issues. We monitor weather conditions daily and subscribe to long-range forecasting to plan work around expected weather. Where necessary, we use strong tape, silicone, and new or existing flashings to keep the roof watertight until the next day.

Do you handle council approvals and permits?

Yes, we manage all required permits and council approvals as part of our service. This includes building permits and compliance documentation. All costs are included in our quote—no extra fees.

What's your payment structure?

Our payment structure depends on the overall cost and project duration. We begin with a 5–10% deposit, depending on the total price. We usually collect a progress claim once the project reaches the "tacking of the roof" stage—typically 60–80% complete. The final payment is due within two days of completion of works and issue of the invoice.
